I’ve Been in College 3 Years. I Still Don’t Know Anyone.

Sometimes I wonder if people even know I exist on campus.

I’m in my third year of college, and honestly it feels like I never truly belonged here.

Everyone else seems to have their group while I just float around.

Classes feel transactional. Clubs feel cliquey. Group projects are silent WhatsApp chats.

Most days, it feels like I’m surrounded by people, yet completely alone.

No one warns you about this side of college — the loneliness and missing sense of community.

Maybe if colleges cared more about building connections, it wouldn’t feel this way.

Sometimes what students need most isn’t another lecture. It’s just someone to sit with.
